PAS 5209 Emergency Medicine Clerkshi
The Emergency Medicine Clerkship is a graduate-level, hands-on clinical experience designed for Physician Assistant (PA) students to develop the practical skills and critical thinking necessary for the management of acute medical conditions in emergency settings. This immersive clerkship will provide students with direct exposure to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of emergency departments, urgent care centers, and other acute care settings. Through supervised clinical practice, students will refine their ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory crises, infections, and neurological disorders across the lifespan.
Prerequisite
Admission to the Physician Assistant Program and Successful Completion of all didactic and clinical courses to date.
