PAS 5018 Interprofessional Care: A Holistic Approach for the Aging Population

This graduate-level course prepares physician assistant students to deliver comprehensive, patient- centered care to the geriatric population (patients >65) through the lens of interprofessional collaboration and holistic health. Rooted in the mission of integrating study, spirituality, service, and community, this course emphasizes the importance of addressing the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of older adults while navigating the complexities of aging and end-of- life care. In addition, they will also be prepared to approach geriatric care with a holistic perspective, integrating the values of study, spirituality, service, and community into their practice.
