PAS 5205 Musculoskeletal Medicine Clerkship

The Clerkship in Musculoskeletal Medicine provides Physician Assistant (PA) students with a comprehensive, hands-on clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions, integrating both orthopedic and rheumatologic care across the lifespan. This course offers students the opportunity to engage with a broad range of musculoskeletal disorders, from acute injuries and trauma to chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and other autoimmune diseases. Students will work closely with experienced clinicians in both outpatient and inpatient settings, participating in patient assessments, diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education.

Admission to the Physician Assistant Program and Successful Completion of all didactic and clinical courses to date.
