PAS 5020 Surgical Patient Care: Diagnosis and Preoperative, Intraoperative and Postoperative Management

This graduate-level course equips physician assistant students with the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, manage, and treat surgical patients across the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of care across the life span. Rooted in the mission of integrating study, spirituality, service, and community, this course emphasizes the ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered application of surgical principles to improve health outcomes and address disparities.
