PAS 5201 Family Medicine Clerkship
The clerkship in outpatient Family Medicine provides Physician Assistant (PA) students with a hands- on, clinical experience in delivering primary care across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This course emphasizes the integration of preventive, acute, and chronic care management in a primary care setting. Students will work closely with family medicine providers, engaging in the full spectrum of outpatient care, including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnostic evaluations, and the management of common medical conditions in both individual and family contexts. Prerequisite
Admission to the Physician Assistant Program and Successful Completion of all didactic and clinical courses to date.
