PAS 5021 Pediatric Medicine: Diagnosis and Treatment in Outpatient and Inpatient Settings
This graduate-level course prepares physician assistant students to examine, diagnose, treat, and provide anticipatory guidance and patient education to patients, parents, and guardians of pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient environments, emphasizing the integration of medical knowledge with ethical, compassionate, and family-centered care. Rooted in the mission of integrating study, spirituality, service, and community, this course equips students to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and their families while navigating the unique challenges of pediatric medicine.

Admission to the Physician Assistant Program and Successful Completion of Semesters 1-3.
