NUR 585 Advanced Nursing Informatics I
In this course, learners will examine humancomputer interaction across the spectrum of healthcare settings and care continuum. Systemsanalysis, system life cycle, system requirementsand design, and project management theory will beapplied. Learners will evaluate the quality andcredibility of consumer health information andstrategies (such as mobile health) for improvinghealth outcomes; mapping the social and behavioraldeterminants of health in health records tosupport population health strategies; and ethicalapplication in uses of information and consumerand professional informatics.
