NUR 568 Adult Gerontology Acute Care III
The focus of the course is on advanced nursingpractice and the management of acutely andcritically ill young, adult and geriatricpatients in the acute setting. Emphasis is onassessment, development of differentialdiagnosis, and development of management plansand health promotion for the patient who iscritically ill or needs emergent interventionwithin the acute setting. The student will applycourse concepts and use critical thinking andevidence based practice to explore anddemonstrate advanced clinical reasoning in theAGACNP role in the acute setting.
