NUR 548 Curriculum Development in Nursing
This course applies concepts basic to theeducational process in Nursing Practice. Emphasisis on the science of teaching/learning thatincludes theories and characteristics of activelearning, whole brain learning, and engagedlearning. The art of teaching includes theories ofcurriculum design and process, creation offunctional objectives and effective instructionalmethods. The technology of education includesimplementation of clinical teaching, evaluation ofeducational resources and the measurement ofeducational outcomes.
