NUR 551 Advanced Role PracticumNursing Admin/Nurs Ed Practicum
The purpose of the role practicum experience isto operationalize theoretical principles withinthe graduate's specialty area of practice. Therole practicum focuses on the synthesis andintegration of concepts learned throughout theeducational experience. Content regardingprofessional role development, practice roles andrelationships, and regulatory requirements fornursing practice are included. Effectiveparticipation in multidisciplinary, partnership,and team relationships is an expected outcome.Professional advocacy, assertiveness andleadership in the specialty role are necessaryfor successful completion.

NUR-510, NUR-512, NUR-514, NUR-516, NUR-520 and cognate�courses in area of specilization.
