The focus of the course is advanced nursingpractice throughout the adult lifespan. Emphasisis on assessment, health promotion, diagnosis andmanagement of acute and chronic adult andgeriatric health issues. The course includesassessment and management of emergent conditionsin this population. The student has anopportunity to apply the course concepts inclinical practice.
