NUR 510 Nursing Theory and Research I
The purpose of this course is to developcomprehensive knowledge about how nursing theoriesare formulated and their relationship to nursingresearch. Principles of theory development areapplied toward critiquing theories from nursingand related fields. Students develop an integratedliterature review and research framework on atopic of interest based on a critical examinationof research literature and theories from nursingand related fields.
