The purpose of this course is professional roledevelopment related to leadership in advancednursing practice. Major emphasis of the coursewill focus on effective communication as a memberof an interprofessional team; strategies topromote change in the healthcare system; andleadership skills necessary to deliver highquality and culturally competent health care topositively affect patient outcomes.
