NUR 5770 PNP: Diagnostic Reasoning

(formerly NUR 577)

The student is introduced to the principles of advanced clinical problem solving. The focus of this course is the exploration of the general concepts of diagnostic reasoning, therapeutic modalities and to refine assessment skills related to principles of growth and development. Through the analysis of case-studies, students will become acclimated to the role of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care in case-presentation. 15 lecture hours and 90 clinical hours per semester.
