NUR 5150 Organizational Theory
(formerly NUR 515)
This course focuses on the exploration of current research findings in organizational theories. Students examine behaviors in organizations, with a particular focus on organizational design and structure, organizational culture and climate, theories of motivation, groups, leadership, power and conflict and change and organizational innovation. Students apply theories to actual situations in nursing education and nursing management through the use of case study analysis. 30 lecture hours per semester.
