Theories and concepts related to human behaviorand promotion, maintenance, and restoration ofmental health of individuals and families arepresented within the framework of the nursingprocess. Critical thinking, communication,self-awareness and therapeutic use of self areemphasized as students explore issues inpsychiatric/mental health nursing andpsychopharmacotherapeutics.
