NUR 333 Mental Health and Pharmacology Nursing
Provides the opportunity to apply conceptspresented in NUR 348. Critical thinking,communication, self-awareness, therapeutic use ofself, and integrated life-balance are emphasizedand applied as students explore issues inpsychiatric/mental health nursing andpsychopharmacotherapeutics. These are demonstratedin the clinical settings under faculty guidanceand through clinical assignments. Emphasis isplaced on professional nursing role and use ofnursing process in care of clients withalterations in mental health in hospital andcommunity settings.
