Concepts related to major altrations of health ofindividuals and their families are presentedwithin the framework of the nursing process.Critical thinking is developed throughinterpretation of nursing diagnostic data andidentification of therapeutic nursinginterventions. Management of adult clients withmajor body system dysfunctions, and acute andchronic illness are emphasized.
