This course includes advanced content-specific instructional methods and provides social studies teacher candidates with support to practice discipline-specific thinking, multi-disciplinary literacy practices, and assessment strategies. Prerequisites: SSC 310 with a C+ or better; SSC 350 with a C+ or better; SSC 370 with a C+ or better; admission to teacher education.
