This course introduces concepts of epidemiology,core public health values, levels of prevention,and theoretical and practical information forassessing, planning, implementing, and evaluatingprograms to preserve, promote, and protect thehealth of communities. The liberal arts andsciences provide the foundation for understandingcommuntity focused nursing processes and roles.
