Provides opportunity to apply concepts presented�in NUR 438. The nursing process is used to provide�compassionate and effective care of clients with�complex, life-threatening alterations in health.�Emphasis on judicious decision-making is reflected�in the interpretation and analysis of assessment�findings and selection of appropriate therapeutic�nursing interventions. Effective communication is�used with clients, families and members of the�health care team in critical care settings.
