Introduction to principal concepts and methods of fluid mechanics. Topics include pressure, hydrostatics, buoyancy; mass and momentum conservation; flow through pipes; and pumps. Prerequisites: EGT 281 or EGR 253; EGR 200 with a C- or better; Permission of E&T Advisor; cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Programming and operation of CNC machines, including CNC vertical milling center and turning center. Emphasis on manual programming, CAM design, and machine setup and operation. Credit may not be earned in both EGR 377 and EGT 377. Prerequisites: EGT 154, EGT 170; permission of E&T advisor; cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Introduction to methods of determining the internal stresses and deflections of basic load-carrying members of construction and machine applications. Prerequisites: EGT 279 or EGR 251 with a C- or better; EGR 200 with a C- or better; MTH 132 or MTH 133; Permission of E&T Advisor; cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
