NUR 640 Clin Manifestations Emerging Therapies
Physiologic adaptation to complex diseaseprocesses and emerging therapies will be examined.Students will utilize their existing knowledge ofanatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology,pathophysiology, and pharmacology to explore newdiscoveries in genetics and genomics. Theevolution of clinical genetic theory and the humangenome project will be discussed and students willexplain principles of genetic counselingpertaining to risk factors for chronic diseases.
