NUR 630 Epidemiology and Biostatistics
The study of epidemiology as a body of knowledgeand a method for analyzing health problems ofindividuals and populations will be examined. Thestudent will learn how the concepts ofepidemiology are used to measure and describe thehealth of populations and the natural history ofdiseases. The study of biostatistics includes theapplication of statistical concepts and analyticalmethods to data encountered in biotechnology andbiomedical sciences.
