The organization and financial structure of healthcare delivery systems will be examined. Thecourse will emphasize theories and research aswell as the principles of financial andorganizational management for health careorganizations. Students will be introduced tohealthcare economics with a focus on the elementsof practice management including concepts of cost,budgeting, reimbursement, marketing andproductivity.
