The Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program with an area of study in Aviation Maintenance Technology is designed for FAA licensed airframe and power plant mechanics. Equivalent military training may be considered. While the Associate in Science is considered to be a terminal degree, many, but not all, of the credits may be applied to one of the University’s bachelor's degree programs. It is a 60-credit program.
NOTE:
How Students Earn Credit in the area of study:
- Students' area of study is completed by the FAA license.
- Certification: FAA certificate as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (equivalent military training may be considered).

II. Aviation Maintenance Technology Requirements (21 Credits)
Complete 18 credits in Aviation Maintenance Technology area and the 3 credit Capstone course. For course options, please contact an academic advisor.
