FIN 460 Risk Quantification & Financing
This course examines the process for identifyingand quantifying insurable risk. Various modelsused for quantifying risks (catastrophic, highfrequency/low severity) are examined along withthe underwriting models for determining the costand value of the risk to an insurer. Riskmanagement tools and strategy are examined incontext of reducing risk and minimizing cost.
