FIN 450 Policy & Product Analysis
This course will teach the student basiccomponents of an insurance contract. Students willstudy actual policies, learn common insurancevocabulary and the interpretation given tolanguage and phrases through actual practice andcourt cases. The course will examine Property,Liability, Marine and Health contracts includingpersonal and commercial lines. Regulatory andsocial issues that impact policy development willbe presented to gain understanding of how newproducts develop.
