Business Administration Transfer Option

A.A.S. Degree (D,G,W)

The Business Administration Transfer option enables graduates to transfer to four year business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The option combines studies in non-business and business courses that will best match students' individual education goals. This option will give graduates the flexibility to transfer to institutions of higher learning.

Program Graduate Competencies

The Program Graduate Competencies listed below identify the major learning goals related to your specific program of study and identify the knowledge and skills you will have when you graduate to be successful in your chosen field.

1. Integrate professional, ethical, and legal standards into business practice.
2. Employ the various theories of management and marketing in a business.
3. Analyze data to process information for decision-making under a product and job costing system.
4. Evaluate the actions taken to acquire and retain customers.
5. Measure and track financial performance of an organization.
6. Analyze and apply the strategic management process to organizations.

Core Curriculum Competencies

You will acquire these core competencies through general education courses and program-specific coursework. You will be expected to use relevant technology to achieve these outcomes:

To complete program requirements, you must pass the above courses and earn at least 65 credits. The number of courses and credits required for graduation may be more depending on your need for developmental education courses and the elective choices you make (if electives are a part of the program). Some programs also have college-level courses that you must take if you do not score at a certain level on the College Placement Test. If this applies to your program, the courses are listed at the top of the sequence sheet before the first semester of the course list.
