COUN 564 Career Counseling in School Settings

This course explores career counseling and life planning with children in aPK-12 setting. Topics include: career exploration techniques and resources, career theory, career exploration and development curriculum, multicultural issues, global issues, diversity within communities, and resources available to assist both school counselors and students outside of the classroom. Methods of instruction primarily feature: in-class face-to-face learning, with some additional asynchronous online work. Course Entry Requirement: Admission to the MAC Program.
