ED 5544 TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO ADOLESCENTS

Research validated strategies and sound alignment among goals, objectives, instruction and outcomes assessment provide the framework for planning mathematics lessons which will be presented to pupils in the field. Strategies for accommodating pupils with disabilities will be addressed. Ways to incorporate technology in teaching will be explored. Students must earn a grade of as least B in this course to be eligible for student teaching. Fieldwork is required. Pre-requisite: ED 5252
