ED 5023 DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION FOR IEP AND TRANSITION PLANNING

The focus of this course is developing individual educational programs (IEPs) that are valid and conform with NYS Parts 200 and 201 Regulations for Students with Disabilities. As a part of this process, candidates will demonstrate knowledge of state regulations regarding transition planning and will learn to apply this knowledge in preparing IEPs that include appropriate transition assessment, measurable post-secondary goals, and transition activities.
