COUN 516 Career Counseling
This graduate-level course introduces students to career development theory and application in career counseling. Students will have the opportunity to learn the history of career counseling and become familiar with the developmental theories that are a hallmark of the field’s evolution and practice. Students will be introduced to how theory is practiced in a variety of settings and with diverse populations. Students will also learn about the relationship between work and mental health, career development across the lifespan, workforce trends, and ethical issues.Course Entry Requirement: Admission to MAC program
