NURS 203 Nursing Care of Specialized Populations
Prepares students to work with a variety of specialized populations including, but not limited to: obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, drug treatment, and the elderly. Allows students to combine all previous knowledge from previous courses with additional instructions in order to provide care to specialty populations that may present in a variety of medical settings.
Lecture will be presented utilizing a variety of multimedia and interactive presentations. Laboratory/simulation experiences will be largely hands-on, team-based, and collaborative using a variety of resources including, but not limited to: multimedia, simulation scenarios
