The application of mechanical principles tobiological systems to better understand thephysical properties of bones, ligaments,tendons, muscles, cartilage and vascular tissues.The physical properties of stress and strain,sheer, torsion and bending on various biologicaltissues are examined.

BIOL 215 and BIOL 216; and KIN 260 or KIN 405 and KIN 405L.
