KIN 323 Epidemiology in Health Sciences

Examination of the patterns, causes,and effects of health and disease conditions.Methodological issues related to the design,conduct, analysis, and interpretation of studiesinvestigating the relationship among a variety ofhealth behaviors (e.g., smoking, physicalactivity, diet) and diseases (e.g., cancers, heart disease) in a variety of populations (e.g.,elderly, ethnic minorities) will be examined.Course will focus on the principles of thequantitative approach to public health andclinical problems.
