PHYT 7351 Motor Control
The general principles of motor control and motor learning applied to movement and movement planningwill be explored with emphasis on the neural mechanisms underlying different aspects of movement and movement planning. Evidence-supportedliterature to identify concepts and principles of motor control and motor learning applicable to functional manual therapy will be explored. Topicsinclude basic neurophysiologic principles, cortical plasticity, motor control, and pain.
