Program Description

The Global College was created to meet the educational needs of working students so they can realize their dreams of earning a college degree. The Global College presents a curriculum through which a student may earn an Associates, Bachelors, or a Masters degree by taking classes through means that work well for the non-traditional learner. We offer an accelerated learning format with primarily 8-week terms. Depending on the subject, some courses may require the full extended 16-week term. Classes meet in one of two accessible formats: either fully asynchronously online or in a hyflex model that allows students to blend their education into their schedule. Final exams are either incorporated into the course or scheduled following the last classroom meeting. To be considered full time in the Global College, the undergraduate student must enroll for at least 12 hours each semester.

Thirty semester hours of credit may be earned in each academic year (six hours in each eight-week term), making it possible for a student to complete all degree requirements in fewer than five years. Academic work transferred from other colleges will shorten this time proportionally.
