IMFG 1215 DC/AC Electronics
Fundamentals of DC circuits and AC circuits operation including Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, networks, transformers, resonance, phasors, capacitive and inductive and circuit analysis techniques. This course will also provide an introduction to solid-state devices, diodes, transistors, special purpose diode thyristors, FET devices, half-wave, full-wave and bridge rectifier circuits, regulated and switched power supplies, amplifier fundamentals, and the theory of oscillation. Prerequisite: IMFG 1200 (1/2/3)
