IMFG 1440 Basic Mill

An introduction and study of common types of milling machines, parts nomenclature,milling operations and procedures, safety, shop mathematics, blueprint reading, and theory. Identification and use of milling cutters and support tooling will be discussed and practiced in a classroom and shop setting. Prerequisite: IMFG 1310 or concurrent enrollment (0/3/3)
