The Bachelor of Science BS degree with an area of study in Medical Imaging is limited to certified, licensed radiographers possessing a required certification: ARRT Radiographer; ARRT- RT R; or N.J. license NJ-LRTR. Qualifying certifications are issued by a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology JRCERT accredited hospital-based program. Students must present a copy of the original certificate and current renewal card. A total of 18 Area of Study credits must be from 300/400 level courses. The degree is a 120-credit program.

Notes
- Certification: ARRT Radiographer ARRT-RT R or NJ license NJ-LRTR copy of original certificate and current renewal card.
- How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: The certification covers almost all of the credits required in the area of study. A second certification nuclear medicine, radiation therapy or radiation protection would complete the area of study.
- A total of 18 area of study credits must be from courses at the 300 level or above.

The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
