SOWO 7153 Social Work in Couples Therapy
Application of social work intervention with couples. Discussion of the steps in beginning to work with traditional and nontraditional couples. Analysis of the fundamental elements in the function of couples such as: diversity, decision making, problem solving, finances, values, ethics, gender, religion, race, sexual orientation and sexual conditions. Review of how these elements affect the therapeutic reasoning. Requires a minimum of 15 hours of lab.
