SOCW 6391 Community Based Participatory Research

This course will provide an overview of Community Based Participatory Research theoretical underpinnings, methods, applications and considerations, and ethical issues. Students of this course are required to undertake community-based research on the approved research topics and implement interventions as part of practicum or at site of their interest. The course will provide case studies and research articles on CBPR to experience interdisciplinary practice of CBPR in macro context.
