BIOL 4417 Bacterial Genetics

This course will cover bacterial genetics from both classical and molecular perspectives. Topics will include transcription, translation, mutagenesis, transduction, transformation, conjugation, and transposition. The lab will include techniques related to those topics and will include northern blotting, DNA sequencing, and the polymerase chain reaction.
