GEO 106 World Regional Geography

Examines the human, cultural, and environmental geographic issues that shape the world's regions. Includes information on spatial patterns of economic development, natural resource uses, international trade, population and migration, transportation, and cultural landscapes. Analyzes each region as part of the larger global community, with a specific emphasis on current issues and trends. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores. Audit available. Fulfills General Education requirements for Social Science\Cultural Literacy
