RADT 1065 Radiologic Science
Content of this course is designed to establish a basic knowledge of atomic structure and terminology. Other topics include the nature and characteristics of x-radiation; ionizing and non-ionizing radiation; x-ray production; the properties of x-rays and the fundamentals of x-ray photon interaction with matter.
Prerequisite
IMSA 1100 – Clinical Practice with a grade of “C” or better, RADT 1010 – Introduction to Radiology with a grade of “C” or better, AND RADT 1030 – Radiographic Procedures I with a grade of “C” or better
Corequisite
RADT 1060 - Radiographic Procedures II AND RADT 1320 - Clinical Radiography I
