AC 350 Cultural Awareness in Addiction Counseling

Study of characteristics of, and counseling implications for, diverse groups including how those groups intersect with addictions. Encourages awareness of student's values, biases, and assumptions; understanding of client worldviews and; development of culturally responsive counseling skills.
