Marketing campaigns are considered essential as organizations seek to grow their market share. Digital Marketing (DM) growth is expected in industries that target customers through websites, live chat, and social media (which is a majority of industries). As digital media continues to grow in importance, marketers who can navigate the digital world should have the best job prospects (Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics). Digital marketing skills carry nearly a $7000 salary premium over other marketing roles (Source: Burning Glass).
Digital marketing knowledge is more valuable than ever. The exploding growth in digital has created a high demand to fill the growing number of positions. Hiring managers of one industry study indicated that marketing and digital marketing positions have the highest demand and were the most difficult to fill (Source: 24 Seven Talent 2019).
