HIS 4260 AMERICAN POLITICAL ASSASSINATIONS
American Political Assassinations studies how significant political figures in U.S. history have proved the target for attempted and successful assassinations. Though highlighting assassinations of U.S. presidents to Kennedy, this seminar also appraises the targeted murders of other significant American political icons such as Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Robert Kennedy. Facets of the assassinations studied include assassin typology, defensive countermeasures during and after the attempt, and the criminal and judicial consequences of these individuals’ efforts to execute U.S. political personages.
