BIO 3710 Restoration of the Gulf I

(formerly BIO 371)

This course is intended for undergraduate Biology majors who wish to experience science at work in the post-disaster community through service learning. Scientific and ethical insight and responsibilities will be introduced in relation to environmental disturbances to the ecosystem caused by natural disaster. Students will also be introduced to the humanistic framework of the disaster in order to understand its impact on this special population.
